The Medical Visa Process, Simplified
India offers an e-Medical Visa for patients travelling specifically for treatment, and a linked e-Medical Attendant Visa that typically allows one or two accompanying family members to travel alongside you. Applications are made online and generally require an invitation/reference letter from the treating hospital, a summary of your medical condition, and standard travel documents.
Eligibility, permitted duration, number of entries and extension rules vary by nationality and change from time to time, so we don't rely on generic guidance — we walk you through the current requirements that apply to your passport and your treatment plan, and coordinate the hospital paperwork the application needs.

No. Embassy Hospitality is a travel, hospitality and coordination company. All diagnosis, treatment, pricing and outcomes are determined solely by the relevant licensed hospitals and healthcare providers — we help you get there, settle in and stay supported.
How is "best price" determined, and does Embassy Hospitality guarantee it?
Treatment pricing is set entirely by the treating hospital, never by Embassy Hospitality. Where a patient's situation allows it, we coordinate estimates from more than one accredited hospital so you can compare transparently and make a cost-conscious, informed choice — but we do not set, discount, guarantee or negotiate any hospital's medical fees.
How do I know a hospital meets international quality standards?
We coordinate primarily with hospitals holding NABH accreditation, JCI accreditation, or both. We're happy to share a hospital's current accreditation status and international patient department details as part of your enquiry.
What visa do I need, and can family members travel with me?
India offers a dedicated e-Medical Visa for the patient and a linked e-Medical Attendant Visa for up to two accompanying family members, applied for online with an invitation letter from the treating hospital.
